Hello everybody,
I don’t know, if this is the right place to post my question, but I´ll try it!!

I’m looking for the order SS-FHA, Kdo.-Amt d.W.-SS, Org.TgbNr. II/ 3884/43 geh. v. 2.6.43,
mentioned in SS-FHA, Amt II, OrgAbt Ia/II, TgbNr. 180/44 g.Kdos vom 24.1.1944, betr. Umgliederung bzw. Neuaufstellung der 3.Estn.SS-Freiw.Brig. zur 20.Estn.SS-Freiw.Div.
Does anybody has a copy of this document and might share it with me?

I have some problems with the connection between the 1.SS-Brigade and the new formed Estonian Volunteer Brigade ordered in SS-Führungshauptamt, Kommandoamt der Waffen-SS, Org.Tgb.Nr. 600/43 g.Kdos from May 5th 1943 and I think, the order I am looking for cancelled the planned formation of the Estonian Brigade from/by 1.SS-Brigade and made some other suggestions for the formation? :?

You might take a look here as well

Paul Lilleleht`s regiment (Estnische Grenzschutz Regiment 6) passed through 3 of line up inspections by German generals before regiment was accredited as suitable for front service:
1) End of April 1944 in Pärnu (Pernau) by Generalmajor der Infanterie Woldemar Viktor Rieberg
2) Beginning of May 1944 in Tartu (Dorpat) by Generalleutnant Bogislav Graf von Schwerin (207. Sicherungs-Division) and Generalmajor Walter (commandant of Tartu)
3) End of May 1944 in Tartu by General der Artillerie Herbert Loch (co of 18. Armee)
Before-cited photograph can be probably taken in one of abovementioned inspections.

On this map lines of the Estnische Grenzschutz Regiment 3 are painted to red.

There is Permisküla Island in the Narva River. As you can see on the map, this island is located in the area of responsibility of 6. –th Estonian Borderguard regiment and was defended by second battalion (II/6.GR) of this regiment.
11th August 1944, Russian artillery opened the strong artillery and rocket-bombs fire against Permisküla Island. Moreover, after the artillery fire was moved to the west side of the Narva River, the Russian infantry landed on the island and the island was conquered. Sixth Estonian Border Guard Regiments Second Battalion was lost in a body. All three companies and headquarters were destroyed.
When the artillery fire was transferred to the West Bank, the Russians landed and it was not possible to withdraw Estonian soldiers from the island. Some data suggest that the three soldiers managed to save themselves.
It was one of the worst days of the Estonian military history.

Hi,
Another photo from finnish war time magazine, which Arensburger could give us more information.
The original text says: "500 estonian soldiers on the main square of Tallinn, who fought on eastern front and are going to send back home".
Cheers

It looks like welcome-ceremony of bat. Narwa after arrival to Tallinn in march 1944.
Few clips of the event:
