Are you sure that it is Kohlroser?
He was identified on forum as Andreas Zondervan.

Hi Iwanss
Well that bring`s up my thoughts about this pic and the man on it, and I will imidetely give him his right name, Zondervan.
OK, this brings sence.
In my memory, Kohlroser was a German vet. from LSSAH, but I think he was In some Command of the L.Netherland for some time, and I remember a pic with Zondervan in British captivity standing up front in a sort of staff-car?

Landstorm

Kohlroser was Commander in chief of the Landstorm Nederland(34th SS) at our surrender in 1945.
He was quite an officer, and tried to the last to get consessions about treatment from the Allied for his troops.
This to no avail.

I notice that this thread is 11 yrs. old, but maybe there is still intelligent life out there that can explain something to me. I keep seeing the horizontal & vertical Wolfsangel listed as the 23. SS (Nederlands). Are all these mistakes, or is there an explanation ? I have chosen this as my current study & it just gets more confusing. The 23. SS insignia is supposed to be the basic odal rune with arrows at the bottom. The Dutch Landstorm started with the flaming bomb & later it was changed to the Wolfsangel (vertical or horizontal ?). Can somebody please simplify this for me ?
