You may be correct. However this picture was taken after Zhukov's speach and before the salute, and since Zhukov also started the parade on horse and later ended up on the wall then Rokossovskii may has done as well.ttvon wrote: But I don't think that another man is Rokossovskii.
Because Rokossovskii is the commander in chief of the parade in 1945,so then he can't stand there and ride a horse.
[edit]ttvon,
You are wright it is not Rokkosovskii - it is Voroshilov.[/edit]

Looks pretty much like Sokololvsky.ttvon wrote:Who are the three Soviet Generalswith Zhukov and Montgomery?
1=Vassily Sokolovski?But I'm not sure.
2 - M.S. Malinin, chief of staff of the 1st Belorussian Front

The most right one without a number is Konstantin Rokossovsky
Re: Request for Identification
I think he's Soviet Foreign Minister Andrey Vyshinsky, here you have a picture (possibly from the same event) to compare:ttvon wrote:Who is he?

Re:
It should be added that Zhukov in his memoirs says that marshal Rokossovsky and generals Sokolovsky and Malinin were present on his meeting with Montgomery in June 1945 and were decorated with Brittish orders. I guess the photo was taken during this meeting. Unfortunately, it doesn't give any clue to a general #3.ttvon wrote:Who are the three Soviet Generalswith Zhukov and Montgomery?
