Hallo everybody,
I am looking for career information on a number of USN Admirals during WW II, one of whom is Frank Howard Sadler.
Sadler served as Commandant of the 15th Naval District until April 1942 and was placed on the retired list in July 1943. Does anyone know, what duty he was assigned during the fourteen months between these two dates?
Thanks in advance.

Hi JD,

My records show him as being attached to the Navy Department during the 14 months in question. I unfortunately do not any further details as to his activity there.
