Hallo everybody,
I am looking for career information on four USN Admirals during WW II, one of whom is Ernest Doyle McWhorter. Admiral McWhorter served as Commander, Carriers, Atlantic Fleet until January 1943. He was retired in February 1944. I like to know what duty he performed in during the year between these to dates.
