Reading the book "the path to power" and it discusses how a group of SA men almost caused an international incident during the Putsch. Some men went to a hotel where there were French and British army men and they were arrested. The manager of the hotel managed to prevent the SA men from harming the officers. It is interesting to think what would have happened if they had armed the officers.
