Belgian arm sales to China 1930's
China would have been a buyer, legally or illegally of ammunition, arms and ammunition. I have a citation of some Belgian bombs being present at a Chinese air force base as late as the spring of 1944. Does anyone have any idea? As always I am also interest in how, when and where such things were shipped. Most likely any exchange would have been on a cash basis. Many thanks in advance.

Why should China be an illegal buyer of ammunition? Do you mean illegal export under Belgian rules? I doubt that there was much such rules in Belgium with large weapons exporters like FN - Fabrique Nationale.Jerry Asher wrote:China would have been a buyer, legally or illegally of ammunition, arms and ammunition. Today, and for quite some, the tables have been turned - China is now an exporter of old and new FN designs. Usually without proper manufacturing licenses.
