Only French designers and military high ranking of the 30's could think of an oddity-monstruosity such as this one! So it is the Automitrailleuse de Reconnaissance (AMR) Gendron, a 1934 prototype. I believe it was subsequently modified and transformed into the 4 wheeled AM 39 Gendron Somua.
