Yes indeed! The Caproni 133 (a derivative of the Caproni 101) was preferred to this new design: the Caproni 132 ......

This ship participated, although indirectly, in one minor inter-war confilct. She also took certain part in WW2, but in another role and with changed outlook.

The sailor jacket tucket in trousers is typically Russian-Soviet and I'd rather say Soviet seaplane carrier "Amur" .....

Hi Pb,

As far as I know, the seaplane carrier itself was christened "Amur" and it was actually used during the Sino-Soviet conflict of 1929.
But let us wait for Alexs' answer ......

Hello!

Yes, that's right. A small explanation now. :)
Initially, she was river gunboat Vikhr. In 1921 she was blown up by her crew to avoid capture by the Japanese. In 1928 she was repaired and became hydroaviation tender Amur (although she did not have engines and could not move by herself), she carrried 4 MR-1 seaplanes (variant of R-1 - Soviet copy of De Havilland DH-9 - equipped with floats). These planes took part in war with China in 1929.
In 1933-1939 she was restored as river monitor, armed with turret artillery, got her engines and was renamed Dalnevostochnyi Komsomolets. Under this name she took part in war with Japan in August, 1945 on Sungari river.

So, over to France!

Kawasaki KDA-5, forerunner of the Kawasaki Ki-10 Perry (And I strongly suspect your intention was to have an "Ki-10 Perry" answer, just to comment "Very close, but not exactly" ..... :P )
