Hello dear friends historians,

I published myself a book about the fihting in Elbeuf where an SS-Kampfgruppe from DR was engaged here 25 aug 1944. I started to prepare this book in the 1990 years with my old friend Fritz Langanke. Now that the book is published several peoples speaks to me. I am living in this area. I discover that lot of german soldiers are still on the ground. I don't write this post to make money but to try to get some informations. Is someone have list of Vermisst soldiers from SS-Pz.Rgt. 2 and from SS-Rgt. Deutschland . I have the inscriptions of some erkennungsmarke but without details.
My web site ist : didier-lodieu.fr. you'll see Combats for Elbeuf
Two Panther from 2./SS-Pz.Rgt. 12 where engaged and the Panzerkommandant was killed. It was the panther 205 from Gaede of course, but he wasn't in it.
I thank given you in advance for your interest and help. I know that it's not easy what I asked you.
Sincerely yours
Didier
