In the famous film Panther hits a Sherman and then Pershing finish the Panther. How ever John Gialluga's son Dough was claiming that another Sherman was hit when they tried to help the first crew. In this picture it seems like another Sherman is abandoned next to the one is hit. Also the other Sherman seem really exposed so it would be a miracle it was not hit(unless Pershing already hit the Panther).
All of the other memoirs it seems like only one Sherman is hit. So what is the truth in this picture and Dough Giallugas story(told by his father)?
