Mogilev-Pol'dolski 11th July 1941

Does anyone know which Soviet units were defending Mogilev-Pol'dolski around the 11th July 1941?

I have an after-action report by StuG.Abt.190 about a Soviet raid on Otaci (on the other side of the Dniestr River from Mogilev-Pol'dolski) on the 11th July and they refer to Mongolen. Does any one know if this was a slanderous term for Soviets with asiatic appearance?

If I am not mistaken, 130 Rif.Div. defended the area in question. This unit was formed in Azerbaijan.
So perhaps not "slanderous", just non-European look.
"Mongolian hordes" term was used in Nazi propaganda as something dangerous and to be afraid of, rather than racially inferior.
Genghis Khan name was used in official speeches not to show inferiority, but danger to Aryan race.
Everyone in the East was Untermensch anyway.

According to the gen.Kolpakchi's (18 Army chief of staff) report on 12 July:
"Situation on our front is rather normal. In the region of Mogilev-Podolsky our recon crossing Dniestr captured Romanian prisoners inducing one officer from the 5 Cavalry Brigade, the officer is very happy about his fate and said that German were at Mogilev-Podolsky but on 10th they left and Romanian cavalry remained there".

In Ukraine actually. Anyway military service in the USSR was exterritorial, ethnic composition didn't depend a lot on peacetime location.
