Babini Group questions

#1

Post by Attrition » 13 Jul 2015, 18:04

Does anyone have sources on the Babini Group (Brigata Corazzata Speciale) for its origin, OOB and operational history? Christie http://cgsc.cdmhost.com/cdm/ref/collect ... ll2/id/597 has an oob but it seems wrong. Thanks

I've been trudging through a machine translation of this but can't find any bibliographic details like the date, OCLC or ISBN, does anyone know if they exist? Thanks.

Here is a better copy of the article (with pics, etc.). Looking at the original, I am wondering if this is a USSME publication. I wasn't able to find any cite info.

I have posted an article, Brigata Corazzata Speciale: An Organizational History on Comando Supremo.

Please take a look. I welcome comments. If you believe you found an error/correction, please offer it. I ask that a cite be provided to the source material so I can evaluate it.

Very interesting, I was particularly impressed by the sources, not being an Italian-speaker. I've added it as an external link here

Good to see a well-researched article on Comando Supremo.
The enemy had superiority in numbers, his tanks were more heavily armoured, they had larger calibre guns with nearly twice the effective range of ours, and their telescopes were superior. 5 RTR 19/11/41

Thank you for the positive comments. I have/will be tweaking it over time.

I am currently working through the Italian armored battalion organizations.

Thanks!

I have updated the article with a few new bits and corrected some small errors. Working through the carri L/f situation. I think I have a plausible answer. The comments indicate what was changed.
