Hello Niccolo, in book Marko Markovic: "Jure i Boban - Povijest Crne legije" picture is described as removing of Yugoslav flag from district building in Tomislavgrad, so I must agree.Hi Streljko! That picture is actually from Tomislavgrad aka Duvno, just to the south of Livno. The picture is from July/August 1942 when the Black Legion defeated Koca Popovic's units in and around Kupres.
Pictures from Yugoslavia 1941-1945: take a look!

It gets a bit confusing since the pics are all from the summer of 1942 and all involve whitewashed buildings in either Bugojno, Livno (where I was born), Kupres, or Tomislavgrad.streljko1 wrote:Hello Niccolo, in book Marko Markovic: "Jure i Boban - Povijest Crne legije" picture is described as removing of Yugoslav flag from district building in Tomislavgrad, so I must agree.Hi Streljko! Francy Ritter, the seahorse could be the answer! But which German unit or divison had a seahorse as a "Taktisches Zeichen" or "Divisionswappen"? One question answered with an other question!FRANCY RITTER wrote:Hello to all !!
Befelh it's a Italian truck Lancia 3-Ro, with sea horse head marking (I think) . Kriegsmarine's unit ?
Yugoslav troops burned their fuel (depot) before the Germans could capture it! On one picture you can see a German soldier and Yugoslav POW.Makedonija wrote:Does anyone have pictures of Macedonian soliders?
Or Yugoslav troops or Bulgarian troops in Macedonia?

And a small adition from "Bundesarchiv" site: Order of the 2. Panzer Armee concerning the treatment of civilians, dated April 6th 1944.

Maribor – the innocent victim
Maribor is the second largest city in Slovenia. Even Maribor was the city under the German occupation during the WW2, it was the most bombarded town in Slovenia from the Anglo-American aircraft. The town was attacked with the bombers B-17 and the B-24 Liberator in the years 1944 and 1945.
