What happened between Yorktown 1781 and Paris 1783?

Dear friends,

I'm interested in what happened in North America between the surrender of Cornwallis in Yorktown and signing of the peace treaty in Paris? I know that Cornwallis capitulated his command, but there were still some 30,000 British and Loyalist troops troughout the colonies, and haven't found anywere that their C-in-C Clinton signed any surrender or truce documents. So, what was going on in the America during these two years? Did Congress reach some kind of agreement with the British forces to stop the fighting until some later date? Or did the small-scale actions continue? There is always this gap between these two events and I'm really eager to fill it.

Thanks in advance,

Gaius
