In 2007, englishrussia.com had a lot of nice photos of what remains from Stalin's "Railway to nowhere"

Norilsk mining complex is one of the biggest producers of nickel and copper in the world. In 1940s before the era of the mass air transport communications with Norilsk were possible only via Yenisei River route, which was functional for only 6 months during the year, hence the plan to construct a railroad to the area. Sincerely yours, cap.
