Since you do not specify, I can only guess that you mean the Easter Offensive of Mar 1970. That being the case just what the hell do events in 1967/68 and 1972 have to do with it???????
And for your information I have "Close Up and Personal" experience with some of those events.
I was wounded Easter Sunday morning when NVA sappers attacked the Special Forces A Camp I was at. Before they got me I was able to kill a large number of them with an M60 MG. How many I don't know because they always carried off their dead and wounded. In this instance they were hurt so bad that they left 8 bodies in the wire and along the east berm. Since I was the only one in that area they are my kills!

Hi Sarge. These posts cover the North Vietnamese 1972 Easter Offensive, which begins on page 1 of this thread. Events from March onward are linked to in chronological order. Nixon retaliated against the North Vietnamese offensive by increasing U.S. air support and coining the name Operation Linebacker for the increased bombing campaign, hence the subject name change in the posts. ... The mention of 1968 was to point out that 1972 Presidential candidates Nixon, Humphrey, and Wallace also ran in 1968. This also provided a pretext to get in a link on General Curtis LeMay, Wallace's running mate. ... Here's a couple of links to the 1970 Easter period:

Nothing in those covers the attack on the A Camp I was at. I was at Chi Lang close to the Cambodian border and we were attacked by the 93rd(?) NVA Sapper Div. The ground attack was proceeded by a mortar attack.
When the action was over and the NVA withdrew I would bet that they were no longer combat effective. A couple of days later our guys followed the blood trails and found the graveyard where they burried the dead. I'm sure someone told me how many bodies they found, but I don't remember. Then of course there were the wounded, some of which undoubtedly died later.
All in all it was a clear defeat for the NVA. They didn't kill but one (1) of us and only wounded about 8 or 9.

Thanks Sarge. News reports from the era are vague. The big newspapers are not available yet on the internet. The following link does mention Chi Lang, saying it was the largest training center in the Delta, it had been shelled by the NVA, and scores of casualties had been inflicted on the enemy.

The ARVN training camp was west of the A Camp, don't remember how far.
I heard that the NVA did a job on those guys. When it was all over I'd bet that the NVA wished they had not bothered us, but stuck to attacking a largely undefended group of trainees!

Note: Actually, Nixon's strategic objective in continuing the Indochina War was designed to halt the spread of standard Bolshevik policies of intimidation by mass shootings, i.e., Communist expansion technics generally adopted during the Russian Revolution and improved upon in China, Korea, and Vietnam. ... Stalin himself in the early days of the Russian Revolution often rode into outlying regions on commandeered trains with Cheka security police and firing-squad detachments to establish order in the civil war. Eventually, in the 1930s, Stalin used firing squads to liquidated most of the original 'Old Bolsheviks' whose radical left-wing views proved unproductive.
