The Allies and wars after WWII

I recently read articles about the Indonesian National Revolution on Wikipedia and how the revolutionaries clashed against Allied occupation forces (aka the Dutch and British). I was wondering if there were other conflicts that involved Allied occupation forces (multiple nations rather than one) following WWII.

Following the Japanese surrender the Vietminh fought against combined British and French forces, who in an ironic twist of fate, employed released and re-armed Japanese POWs to help in quelling the uprising.
