Any hint what maps are coming. Maaselkä Isthmus, I hope.

It's quite hard to estimate what kind of maps are to be available based on the archival listing alone, but here's the better of my guesses:

- Finnish troop movement and placement maps
- Intelligence maps of Soviet positions and unit movements
- Fortification maps (e.g. VT-, VKT-, U- and Salpa lines)
- Training and war game maps
- Weather and ice condition maps
- Thematic maps of the Soviet Union

P.S. I think I have covered most of the 1943 Finnish 1:20 000 Maaselkä Isthmus maps on my map thread.

I received a word that the aforementioned microfilms are not in the digitisation list for at least for several years due to insufficient resources to catalog them to the online system.

Hundreds of building blueprints property of the city of Viipuri have been digitised. Two examples of buildings now renovated to their former glory:

- The City Library by Alvar Aalto. - General Plan - South Facade - East Facade
- The Art Museum and the Art School by Uno Ullberg - General Plan and North Facade - East Facade - West Facade

Some previously missing, albeit interesting, Winter War war diaries have been digitised, e.g. 2. ja 4. Erillinen panssarijoukkue (two FT-17 tank platoons under 3rd Corps at Taipale). See digi.narc.fi

I have a faint memory that someone had a link to a Finnish document of ammunition expenditure during the winter war.
But now both my memory and my search skills fails me.

It was very detailed with data for each type of gun and ammunition.

Any advice on where to find it would be apreciated.

Good Night

Päämaja. Taisteluvälineosasto. Ampumatarvikehuoltotoimisto 1941-1944. It mostly covers only the Continuation War era.

Thanks
It was not what I remembered, what I am looking for might been procured weapons and ammo, and their expenditure during the winter war.

But the data in your link seem to been input for

Thanks for your effort.

Apparently the National Archives of Finland is working, among other things, with algorithms to recognise and transcript handwritten war diaries into plain Finnish.
