Re: Finnish Artillery
Hello!
Not 102/60, the ship is gunboat Turunmaa so the gun must be Canet 75/50.

Re: Finnish Artillery
Thank you for your answers, kansa2 and Pekka.
I think Pekka is right: 75mm Canet
Is this gun another 75mm Canet L50 ??

I think the recoil and targeting mechanisms are very different from the 75/50 Canet gun....
See http://www.jaegerplatoon.net/COASTAL_AR ... 1.htm#7550
Is the gun of 88955 image an 76.2mm M1902 ??

Hi Sturm78!
A drawing from the book Itsenäisen Suomen Rannikkotykit 1918-1998 (Coastal guns in Finland 1918-1998) by Lt.Col. Ove Enqvist shows a Canet 75/50 with inverted barrel (recoil system on top of the gun).
Also the info of the original SA-photo 88663 says, that the gun is 75/50...

Re: Finnish Artillery
Thank you very much for your help, Pekka.
I think there are some differences in the gun (the breech opens to the opposite side, eg.) and specially in the mount with respect to the gun of the image from this link:
http://www.jaegerplatoon.net/COASTAL_ARTILLERY2.htm
I suppose that the gun of my image is on the new single mount, qirh more elevation, no ??

Re: Finnish Artillery
Yes, there were some differences between different models.
Like the breech opening direction at some guns:
