The document where Soviet Russia recognised the independent Finland on 4 January 1918. It has been signed by Lenin and Stalin, among other persons. SA-kuva N:o 477.

How can you search by number "SA-kuva N:o 477"? I am only able to find photos since 1939.

Use the number as a search word. You might also want to check that you are searching photographs from 1939 to 1945 ("Päivästä - Päivään" option above the search word line).

Does anyone recognise any personnel or locations from SA-kuva numbers between 118146 and 118999? It seems most of them were photographed (of Er.Os.P?) around Petsamo and Alakurtti by an unknown photographer in 1942 and 1943. Most of the photographs have only a word long description with them.

Some examples:

118842 (also 118840-118845) seems to be from Liinahamari harbour:

These (118643 and 118644) seem to be from Kajaani:

The Heritage Society of that unit might know more:

I think that quite many of 1941 too.

Here (AFAIK at Alakurtti region 1941) several captured T-27 tankettes

SA-Kuva 152035-152045 ("shooting range, German?"). Might these be photographs taken on a sector manned by 122. Infanterie-Division during the summer of 1944? The other possible location I could think of is somewhere along the northern coast of Estonia.

Landscape on these photos is not like Viipurinlahti coast, especially Säkkijärvi - Tervajoki area - place of main activity of 122.D.

Yep, and the panzerfaust target T-50(?) would also indicate that they are not photographed in Finland.

Didn't Finns have one T-50 even in operational use? I mean why would presence of such a tank mean that the shot was taken outside of the Finnish controlled areas?

Although not a documented feature (yet), one may now download digitized colour photographs from the sa-kuva.fi service using JSdia* (Jsdia001 through Jsdia820) as a search word and pressing the download button.
