Re: Camouflaged Cars and Lorries
Hi All:
Thanks for the excellent photos, all new to me.
If you wish to complete your photo's identification, I can provide information on most of the photos.
26926, 56321, 56344/5 are all 1940 Ford trucks known as "hävittäjä" in Finnish.
37458 is a 1938 Ford Standard.
28189, 28920 is a 1939 Ford.
86895/7 are photos of a 1937 Chrysler, a rare car in it's homeland and very rare in Finland I would imagine.
7067 is a 1937 Chevrolet.
Bill

I believe the ambulance on a_152 is a Sisu SH-7 manufactured by Suomen Autoteollisuus Ab Oy.Bill Murray wrote: If you wish to complete your photo's identification, I can provide information on most of the photos.

Hejsan Juha........
Thanks for your comment, I am always more than happy to help when I can.
For now, there are 4 I cannot yet identify but a chance remains. 2067, 21114, 47780 and 36227 which may be a mid 1930's Packard.
42567 is a 1935 Ford. Liked the monkey, but you did not comment on the Gas Mask headlamp covers which seem to be an exclusive
Finnish joke.
Here are two more photos of this oddity, sadly not cammo photos, but interesting in any case. Both 1939 Chevrolets.
