The first lot was purchased in 1934 and delivered in 1935. The seller was Forges & Chantiers de la Méditerranée. More was bought before the Winter War and in March 1940 a batch 250 pontoons was bought from Finnish industry.

I am not sure if these pontoons and bridge equipment are also M35 or not....

The chainsaw is not a Finnish made (there were two different models manufactured before the Winter War) and probably not a German one made by Erco/Ringo, Dolmar or NSU. My guess is that it might be an unlicensed version of some German chainsaw model.

The original Finnish caption for the chain saw SA picture 42630 is: "Suuri sotasaalismotti. Ryssien lastauspaikalle jäänyt suuret määrät kaikenlaisia sotatarvikkeita sekä kuolleita hevosia ja ryssiä. Suur-ja Pienkarilahti 1941.08.29". In English approximately: "Large amount of war booty from a motti. Loanding area with large amounts of war materiel, dead horses and Russians. Suur- ja Pienkarinlahti 1941.08.29".

Nothing said about German equipment, licensed or unlicensed
