I will post a bit of a funny one, what is it?
Note again, my Finnish archives are almost all soft skin vehicle photos so I don't really have much to post on such a quiz thread.

Yes, Alexsander!

A Russian toilet captured near Vyborg.
Rather primitive I think.

Your turn.

Well..

(Note: Interim Peace question)

In April 1940, just after the end of the Winterwar the Finnish State arranged a fundraising where the finnish public could make a contribution and "pay" for new army equipment to the troops.
What was the contributed to this fundraising?

Clue - it was not money, but something rather unusual and in most cases, of personnel and sentimental value.

Do you mean the exchange of golden rings to ones made of iron, so that the army could get new funds?

Yes you are correct. In april the State established offices' for private contributions of jewellery. The first two days over 125.000 wedding rings was handed over to the "state" to fund the Army's equipment.

Thanks! Surprisingly these funds were not put to use during wartime because of several different complications, from what I know.

I'll let someone else make up the next question, so everybody feel free to!
