Belgian military court Brussels (Falkenhausen, Georg Bertram)
Generalleutnant Georg Bertram, former OFK Lüttich, was accused in the so called "Falkenhausen-court case"
25.09.1950 - 07.03.1951 in Brussels.
Early released already in March 1951
But what was his primal sentence ?

Dieter -- Here are my notes on the fellow; the newspaper reports didn't give the exact charge used by the Belgian court:
Bertram, Georg (1882-27.10.1953) [Generalleutnant] -- attached to Reich War Court (General b. Reichskriegsgericht) 1 Apr 1937-30 Sept 1942; commander, 589th Field High Command (Oberfeldkommandantur - OFK 589) at Liege, Belgium 15 Nov 1942; commander, 670th Field High Command (Oberfeldkommandantur - OFK 670) 10 Jun 1943; Kdt. d. Rheinübergänge 11 Sept 1944; commander, 1st Paratroop Army rear area 29 Oct 1944; commander, 15th Army rear area 29 Dec 1944; commander, 25th Army rear area 8 Jan 1945 {put on trial by a Belgian military court at Brussels May 1950 on charges of reprisal shootings while military administrator of Liege (LT 26 Sept 1950:3e); sentenced 9 Mar 1951 by a Belgian military court to 10 years hard labor for war crimes (NYT 10 Mar 1951:4:3; LT 10 Mar 1951:5b; LT 20 Mar 1951:4g); amnestied and released 27 Mar 1951 (NYT 28 Mar 1951:18:6; LT 28 Mar 1951:3e; LT 29 Mar 1951:3c); died 27 Oct 1953 at Bad Pyrmont. (ABR-H).}
(NYT = New York Times; LT = London Times in this format: date/page/column [American columns are given numerically; British columns are given alphabetically. Why? I don't know -- national quirks, perhaps]).

For some reason (perhaps a sizing problem) the bottom part of the NYT 10 Mar 1951 story got cut short. Here it is, without the photo:
