Jüdische Siedlung Abasowka (Jewr. Kol. Abasowka / Евр. кол. Абазоска) was about 10 kilometers northeast of Balta, Ukraine between Passat (Пасат) and Korytna (Корытна). I came across the name while researching the Battle of Balta in 1941 (late July to early August) and became curious if it is every mentioned in any other sources.
Does anyone have any information on what became of the inhabitants? Were they evacuated by the Soviets or did they get caught up in the Holocaust?
