Vehicles in concentration camps ?

Hello everyone,

Does anybody know what type of vehicles the staff and SS garrison used in a KL ?
I've been in ex KL Natzweiler 3 weeks ago and it is said there was a garage for vehicles. One of these vehicles was stolen by prisoners who escaped from the camp in 1942.

I believe a Steyr 220 was used in an escape from Auschwitz 1.

I don't think they used anything special, my guide to Axis vehicles doesn't state anything special, but you are referring to vehicles used exclusively for the guards and staff? because that is a different kind of unit in general than the SS, at least what the SS is normally thought of. Just making sure of the question

Yes, my question deals with the vehicles used by the Totenkopf-Wachsturmbann in duty in a KL.

Registers of the KL didn't give this info ?
