Jews hunting Jews in hiding on behalf of the Gestapo

I have been aware of Jewish "U-boats" (Jewish people submerged under cover in towns and cities in Nazi Germany, hiding from deportation) for many years but have only recently been told by a friend that a number of Jews were employed by the Gestapo to track down and betray these other Jews in return for their own safety.

Apparently one of the foremost of these Jews was "Greiferin" Stella Kübler and her boyfriend later husband Rolf Isaaksohn. Reportedly she betrayed between 600 and 3000 other Jews.

I am surprised that she was not treated more harshly after the war, she apparently lived until 1994.

I have searched the AHF but found little information and wonder if there as a reliable source concerning this situation and this couple specifically, has anybody found trial references ?

Apparently born as Stella Goldschlag and it seems that a book has been written, so off to Amazon for me.

The "biography" is by Peter Wyden and as you might expect called "Stella".
It is quite a good read and has a take on her Gestapo handler.

If you are interested in the account of a young Jewish woman who went to ground in Berlin, her various trials and tribulations, her story is told by her son from notes she left behind:
Marie Jalowicz Simon, "Gone to Ground", The Clerkenwell Press (Croydon/UK), 2016 (as a paperback) - first published in hardback by Profile Books (London), 2014. It a very good translation from German where it first appeared in 2014.
A startling account of life in Berlin during the war for ordinary civilians, not just the Jews in hiding.
