the corruption of Koch and wife was exposed by SS-Hstuf Dr. Konrad Morgen during his investigation, resulted in death sentence. Koch was deposed as commandant and Florstedt brought in from Buchenwald where he had been Koch's junior. Florstedt had also been Frau Koch's lover at Buchenwald and they re-commenced their affair briefly.

i am trying to find information on ss rottenfuher friedrich gross..apx.age at majdanek...how many months he served...any information would help...even personal...thankyou..

Süẞ (born Reischl), Rosa/Rosy-Birthdate: September 16, 1920 Birthplace: Gensewies/Gänswies SS Entry Location/Date: Ravensbrück, November 1, 1942 Camp Service: Ravensbrück, Majdanek-Lublin, Auschwitz-Birkenau Ranks: SS-Hilfsaufseherin, SS-Aufseherin, SS-Kommandoführerin Notes: Tried by a Polish military tribunal during 1948 in Kraków for war crimes at Auschwitz-Birkenau and sentenced on January 17, 1949 to 8 years imprisonment for the mistreatment of camp prisoners; she was released from a Polish prison during 1955 and deported to Germany. Investigated for war crimes in the 1970’s, Süẞ was never prosecuted but instead appeared as witness during the third ‘Majdanek trial’ in Düsseldorf between 1975-1981 along with sixteen other former SS.

A very interesting listing, Jared. Only a few minor incorrectnesses, eg. "Lipce" is a township of Gdansk, many "ranks" are in reality a function which they executed and not an SS-rank itself.

Thank you history1. I've actually been working on making a listing of every SS-Aufseherinnen, and these are just the women from Majdanek-Lublin I looked up in my notes. And as for the mistakes, well; we all make them. Let me know if you require any additional data on any of the Aufseherinnen; I'll see what I can find.
