Mit diesem Beil soll 1858 der Raubmörder Marsch hingerichtet worden sein.

Franz Mittendorfer, an Austrian communist, was sentenced to death and guillotined at Vienna Regional Court on 10 November 1942.

Another Franz Mittendorfer, a Jehovah Witness and conscientious objector to war, was sentenced to death and guillotined in Berlin Plotzensee prison on 6 January 1940.

The significance of Kagran shooting range is that many of those who died there and those guillotined at the Regional Court are buried in the same section of Vienna Central Cemetery (as posted before).

Johann Gruber was beheaded in Berlin Plotzensee prison on 22 February 1943 (the same day as the Scholl Siblings and Christoph Probst in Munich Stadelheim prison).

Johann Teufel was guillotined at Vienna Regional Court on 2 June 1943. He was guillotined with other 29 prisoners in the largest mass guillotine execution session at that location. Bogucice cemetery, where Germans buried the Katowice guillotine before being forced to retreat. The guillotine was later found and reassembled. It beheaded 552 people during its bloody reign. The executioner was August Koestner and he committed suicide.

After the execution of Benita von Falkenhayn and Renate von Natzmer with an axe, there were some in the Ministry of Justice who defended continued used of the axe as a beheading instrument. This is an example of one speech by an official from the Ministry of Justice:
