the German War Criminals were tried and sentenced in France for a part on relation with the "ordonnance du 28 aout 1944":

hello!

for my masterthesis i am searching for french post-war-trials concerning the concentration camp Mauthausen (including sub-camps). i have already found some of those cases (Hans Bühner, Georg Finkenzeller, Anton Hefner, Johann Gärtner) ... but it is very difficult to get any information from french archives. do you have any additional information concerning this matter?

The name is looking strange. Maybe a spelling mistake. I am interested in more information about this man and trial in August 1945

probably , this is Karl Staudacher (born.17.03.1894. in Ravensburg)
Hauptman within 194th Sécurity Bttl.

this death sentence is unknown to me , but i have that he was sentenced to a Life Sentence in Marseille on the 30.10.1945.
later , sentenced to 20 years H.L in Lyon on the 24.10.1951 , and released on June/july 1954.
