Re: Id. warship
hi,
it's a fast coastal minelayer, a "KM-" or "KS-"boat, see http://www.german-navy.de/kriegsmarine/ ... index.html and http://www.foerderverein-museums-schnel ... ote-km.htm (scroll down more than 0.6 of the page)
greetings, the pb

Re: Id. warship
m1916 boats were mostly black painted, only some converted to test ships, fleet tenders and r_boat mother ships were white. i guess this was R-Boot mother ship Nettelbeck.
Re: Id. warship

Re: Id. warship
Well... I have never seen any photo of Delphin, but I do have saved several photos of Nettelbeck. On the pre-war photo of the latter, most details are consistent with this ship on the photo here, with the only difference being a search light installed on top of the bridge. The emblem on the bow also fits.
Re: Id. warship
Hi all,
Can somebody identify this ship?
Cruiser or battleship ??
