Guys,
Just to share a picture with you all really. This came with a small grouping I got a while back. The remaining pictures show sailors posing at sea and enjoying a bottle of beer after receiving thier EK 2's.
Anyway the picture speaks for itself, I thought it was nice to actually see this equipment in use. Not particularly effective but I'm sure it had some part to play in at least boosting morale knowing thet had as many defensive weapons available. Judging by the other pictures it looks like the men srved on a converted trawler.

Not to mention the physiological effect it would have on aircrew attempting to attack at low level. I had no idea that such a system existed. Thanks for posting.

Thanks but it's actually a black and white photo that's been coloured in by pencil. Still, it's a nice picture of an unusual weapon, in fact the first time i saw the photo i just assumed it was something like flames coming out of the funnel, it's only when i looked more closely at it that i realised what it was.
