hi,

no, it´s the DEUTSCHLAND. Both ADMIRAL SCHEER and ADMIRAL GRAF SPEE had a "tower mast", but this ship hasn´t one.

As a sidenote: The Admiral Scheer did receive a Deutschland type mast, but not until her reconstruction in 1940. However, we know that the ship in question is Deutschland, because she is showing her Spanish Civil War recognition stripes on her main gun turret.

Thank you, Takao, for your aditional information.

I need help to identify this German destroyer. I think it is a late-war image as this ship have some 3.7cm Flak M42 AA guns.

I bought this photograph from Ebay. It just says Luftwaffe loaded on ship. I did not think the Kriegsmarine had any Aircraft Carriers apart from the un-finished Graf Zeppelin. And these aircraft seem to be mid 1930's aircraft?
Any idea what the ship is please?

In my opinion Artillerieschulboot FUCHS (II) is correct. It was the former M 130: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/M_130_%281918%29 or http://www.forum-marinearchiv.de/smf/in ... l#msg74240

Thank you for your help, once more, Peter K.

I found this image on EBay. I guess M84, a Minensuchboot 1916 minehunter of WW1. Is this correct?

hi,

it is M 84 all right, but no boat of that time had minehunting capacity, they were only minesweepers.

The picture shows the boat with the so-called "Heckanbau" or "stern addition", indicating a point of time of 1936 or later

hi, Vladalex,

the picture shows the gear for "mechanical" sweeping, not even the more advanced simulation sweeping where you tow a (large) buoy with noisemaker and a magnetic field.
