I notice in all web pages available with info about this ship seized by the Germans from Norway.
Always is listed as minelayer. but according the evidence in pictures from my photo album this ship was used as Torpedo School, and diving school.

Germans have lot of various KAMERUN's. This one is german ship build in 1940 and used as torpedo recovery and diver training vessel in Germany through all war. After WWII taken by USSR.
Ship you talking about as minelayer is another ship (2 times smaller that german ship). Built in Norvay in 1939 as RAUMA, she was used by germans in Hafenschutz-Flottille Oslo as NO.01 KAMERUN. From 1941 V.5908, in 1947 returned to Norvay.
