Help ID some ex-Norwegian torpedo boats
Hello guys, these were captured Norwegian boats in German service, from various sources on Internet. Because these boats were very similar to each other, I have difficulty to identify their names, any help will be much appreciated

Hi Bertamingo,
While I can't ID the TB, you might be interested in knowing (if you don't already- seeing your prior posts), that years ago, at the old nuav.net forum, we had a discussion about these old TB's and one was used as a torpedo transport/battery charger. I checked my records, but no luck in finding that name.
Good Hunting!

Re: Help ID some ex-Norwegian torpedo boats
Hello bertamingo,
sadly I can neither help you with the correct name of the different boats. But here is some information regarding the class. The Norwegian torpedo boats were built around 1900, there were two different types ("1. klasse and "2.klasse") The germans mainly used them in various Hafenschutzflottillien based in Norway. The torpedo boats got the nickname "cigar boats" by the norwegians because of the long shape.
AFAIK the following Norwegian TB's were taken over by Kriegsmarine:
TB "Brand" (german: Tarantel)
TB "Laks" (german: Admiral Deinhard)
TB "Sild" (german: Balte)
TB "Skrei" (german: NH-01, Hafenschutzflottillie Hammerfest)
TB "Kjell" (german: Grenadier/Dragonier?)
TB "Lom" (german: Eidechse)
TB "Skarv" (german: Gazelle)
TB "Oern" (german: Schlange)
Regarding your photos, the last picture with the swastika flag draped over the vessel is taken in Kristiansand, probably early in the war because of the practice with the flag. See also: http://www.german-navy.de/kriegsmarine/ ... index.html
