[Dear moderators, I've posted an identical request in the biographical section. Since not anyone reading this sub-forum goes there regularly please tolerate my double posting this time.]

Hello,

I'm looking for any information on a Korvettenkapitän (E) Leistikow. He commanded Flugmeldeabteilung Pommernküste in Swinemünde (Hoffmann, 1965, p.138). This is all I know.

Was it Leo Leistikow, Oskar Leistikow or someone else? Any other details on the role of Oskar Leistikow in WW II are much appreciated too.

Wonderful Hucks,

that's exactly what I was hoping for. I'd almost given up hope after finding an old list with commanders of Marine-Flugmelde-Abteilung Pommernküste ( http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 01#p571801 ) where Leistikow doesn't figure at all.

The request for info on Oskar Leistikow remains valid though. He and his family were living in Halle an der Saale but about 1943 he appears to have been in Hamburg for a while, so probably had been reactivated.

Three thumbs up,
Torsten
