Attack on Tirpitz August 1944

I´m trying to locate information on an aerial attack on a German radar station at Ingoy island in August 1944.

The attack was carried out by British planes during Operation Goodwood, which was the code name for several air attacks against the battleship Tirpitz.

The attack on the radar station was done by planes that had not been able to bomb the Tirpitz (due to clouds over target). The were flying over Ingoy island on their way back to the aircraft carriers located off the coast of Finnmark.

The date of the attack is either August 22 or August 24.

I am very interested in finding photographic material of flight logs for the specific attack on the radar station.
As the radar station was being run and guarded by Luftwaffe, I´m also very interested in such material.

1: Have anyone heard of this attack?
2: Is there anyone who can direct me to a possible source for more information?

Kind regards

Hello Allan,

The air attacks in July-August 1944 are mentioned in "Tirpitz the floating fortress" by David Brown, New London Press ISBN 0870218832.
The attacks on Tirpitz are detailed, but the subsequent attack on the radar station only gets a passing mention.

Regards,
Rand

Admiral Polarkuste for 22.08.44:
"... 12.49 - Anflug etwa 50 Tragerflugzeuge Altaraum. Angriffe auf:
1. Marinefunkfeuer Ingoy, durch B[ord]W[affen] - Beschuss ausgefallen..."
I.e. Navy radiobeacon was attacked by strafing and out of work.
No further data about radar stations.

Thanks for that Igorr.
It is a confirmation on both eye witness observations and info retrieved from the German war diary in Hammerfest.

I have KTB SeeKom Hammerfest. It say:
"13.20 Angriff 6 Feindmasch. auf Radio Ingoy mit BWB, Luftwaffen- und Marineanlagen zerstort."
No words about radars either.
I thinks somebody mix up radio beacon and radar.
