Good Evening
I'm currently doing some research for a friend of mine regarding his uncle who was MIA flying a Beaufighter off the Dutch coast on 4th Feb 1943. We have information from a pitot who saw the Beaufighter hit by heav Flak before flying into the Sea. We know that his aircraft was EL450, but all the official records show is that he was MIA.
Is there any where that I can find records of Flak ship claims against Allied aircraft?

hi,
If you really want to do a thorough check, you have to work your way down from BSN https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Befehlsha ... er_Nordsee
where the occurence may have been mentioned, then to the subordinate escort divisions (probably the 1st), then to the flottilla of flak ships (in German probably : Vorpostenboot)
greetings, the pb
