Adolf Hitler tops poll to find world's most recognizable face
The Nazi dictator topped a poll to find the most famous faces in history and was correctly identified by 944 out of 1,000 people.
Hitler was closely followed by music mogul Simon Cowell, according to the poll.
Kings and queens from the past also made the list as well as former prime minister Margaret Thatcher and pop star Lady Gaga.
But when it comes to Britain’s most famous faces, fictional wizard Harry Potter comes out on top.
The character, who is played by Daniel Radcliffe, was recognised by 96 per cent of the nation, beating James Bond – as portrayed by Sean Connery – into second place.
Britain’s most recognised real-life face was prime minister David Cameron, found the Mori poll commissioned by TV channel Yesterday.
