Love the way you showed the old pictures in relation to your's. My son went there two years ago with his classmates, he said it was the most beautiful place he has ever seen and he wants to go back again. Now, after seeing your pictures, I want to go too ! You might get a commission from the local Tourist Board at this rate! C.

Ah, Hans, I just can't describe how peaceful it makes me feel to view all your photos - thanks again! I like trying to guess all the locations. :milwink:

I will be there again next week, but it looks like it will rain a lot then. When the rain is coming down, I'll just think of your photos.

Thank you Carol, i am sure you would love the scenery as well if you where to go to this region of Germany.
The ever romantic Salzburg in Austria is only 25 km away from here as well, so there is lots to see and visit.

Thank you again Geoff, it is great to hear that you will visit the region again, as i know you never get bored with it.
I just hope that you will have a brake regarding the weather, since normaly the autumn season is the most beautiful.
Most tourist are gone then, so it is much more quiet as you will know. Also when the summer heat is gone it gets more
easy to climb around the mountains and tunnels :-)

Hans.
