War-related sites and sights in Burma?

In January I will be going to Burma for the first time. I've wanted to go there for years, but so long as Aung San Suu Kyi was in detention I didn't think it was proper to do so. Now she's free and urging tourists to go, I am at last making the trip. I'll be spending most of the time looking at Buddhist temples and British Empire relics, but I'm always interested in finding war-related sites wherever I go. Does anyone know of any World War II related sights in Burma worth seeing?
