Thanks! :)

Hi,
Dear Peter and Gerrie Coetzee,

Three sailors standing by British soldiers it than Chineses aren't. These are Japanese sailors from Shanghai garrison. Certainly they are carrying the Japanese kit: enlarging the photograph – I recognize Japanese sailors hats, the back ammunition pouches (large pouch) holding 60 rounds, and probably the bayonet Type 90. I am not specializing in British Army. I don't know, when British persons resigned from puttees (which one can see in a photo).
LMG Lewis used by in the paucity on the weaponry British Shanghai of the garrison to 1941.

I know, that during street fights in 1928 year (in Shanghai was then communist uprising destroyed by Kuomintang during heavy street fights) Japanese and British garrisons cooperated repeatedly together. Maybe, perhaps then this photograph was taken.
Sorry, for my poor English,
Regards,
Jabu

it is Type 11 (1922) 37 mm Infantry Gun, based by French 37 mm mle 1916 TRP trench gun.
Behind cannon, by empty case - two carrying hanles. On the right photographs - packing box for 37 mm high-explosive shells (16 complete rounds).
