Thanks for the photos. I believe that the photo with the caption 'Javanese police' was actually the Johore Military Force in Johore Bharu this unit was demobilized by the Japanese in 1942. The spire of a church at the back of this photo is actually a Catholic church in Johore Bharu town

I found an Image that you had posted on this forum in some of my fathers effects. He passed away in 1992. I was wondering if you could give me some information on the background of that photo. It seems to be showing the surrender of the Japanese on Luzon.
