Great blog!

How do you know the difference between Nissan 80 and 81? Is the Nissan 81 the model with the simplified grill?

Nissan 81 had a split front grill to open. So, there was a vertical line at center.

I see a handle on the grill of this truck, is it also a Nissan 81? It was labeled as a 1939 Nissan 80.

It is searchlight vehicle imported from the west. It would use western truck, but I don't know the model.

Is this related to the Isuzu TU10 (Type 94)?

Type 92 AA Gun Prime Mover was based on Sumida P truck.

It seems based on Type 94. Note that Type 93 is the designation of searchlight. There were several combinations of searchlight and vehicle.

Thank you for clarification!

I found on https://reibert.info/ a Isuzu Type 94(?) with an enclosed cab. Most have a canvas top, so what is this?

It is the late version of Type 94. The late version was hard-top.

Ok. One more question for now. The hucks starter was mounted on several different trucks but it is hard to tell them apart. The models I know are

1. Toyota GB
2. Toyota KC
3. Isuzu TX40(wrong model?)

Are there any good photos of these?

I don't know. There are photos, but most photos have no information about model.

I upload only photo that the model is certain.
