Tai er zhuang 1938

I dug up some information as to the last stand of the japanese in Tai-er zhuang 1938. One of the last bastions of resistance was at the train station. At the end of the battle the Chinese discovered reasons for the fanatical resistance--Japanese burial units were trying to complete the cremation of their dead in order to return the ashes of the dead to Japan.
The source book is in the public library and I can find the title if need be.
Question; can any one identify the units involved? I know the Japanese had some armor (what types?) and the Chinese air force put in an appearance.
Anyone have more details?

I don't think the Chinese has any armor in action at Taierzhuang
