As for Uzawa Katsunobu, i have him (this image) as colonel Akamatsu Sadao. Would it be possible for you to post the Kanji letters so that i can search him? Image attached. The image should be from the lost site.

Hi Matteus,

Yes, I believe that you are right, the Uzawa(鵜沢尚信) pic is really Akamatsu. Because I couldn't find the source, I don't now know how I ID'd him as Uzawa
You were also correct in identifying Yoshihara Kane. Good spot!

Hi VJK,

My problem is that i do not know who is Yoshihara Kane. I cannot read Kanji nor any other japanese letters and generals.dk (on which i rely mostly) has no Yoshihara Kane http://generals.dk/nation/Japan/Yo.html. So i think i knew who that is a couple of years ago, but now i do not know who this is anymore . Is it Yoshihara Tadsu?

Yes, Yoshihara Kane (吉原 矩) (よしはら かね) is the same person as Yoshihara Tadsu.

btw i think i can somehow confirm Yamase from the previous page since i have the same image but should be from a different source.
