These forces were to be withdrawn from Shanghai sixty days following cessation of fighting. Does anyone have data as to their transit, My understanding is that the 14th departed first.

Thank you Fontessa: as always you are so helpful. Still unclear is movement of the 14th Division to the front and the return of the 24th Mixed Brigade. Fontessa I am fascinated by your post re float and seaplane ops. Except for big battles have not seen such complete data. Are you able to track float and seaplane ops. Can you teach me how to access JACAR--(I am a very slow learner on computer--almost impossible). Have a great day--you have enriched mine

Hello Jerry,

The below is the index page of JACAR English version.
http://www.jacar.go.jp/english/index.html

Although viewing with JPEG version is possible, it is easier for operation to use "DjVu" plug-in. You can download it on the above JACAR index page.

Then you can proceed to the below searching page be clicking “Advanced Search” on the index page.
http://www.jacar.go.jp/DAS/meta/MetaOut ... etaTop.xsl

You can search with English keywords on this page. (Of course searched documents are written in Japanese.)
You can browse the result by clicking "Browse" button. And you can select magnifying factor with the pulldown menu "ウィンドウにあわせる".

Many thanks Fontessa: Have not begun to learn JACAR yet, but will start this week. In the meantime have a great week. Do you have access to flight data on float/sea planes. Flights from the HIJMS Notoro or Kamoi? For insance Notoro planes were very active at the beginning of the 1st Shanghai Incident in January/Fegbruary of 1932, and I have Kamoi as present in the Bohai in late May 1933 at the time of the Tanggu Truce of May 31st, 1933.
