Japanese units on Caroline Islands.

Hello,
I'm trying to collect any data about IJA or IJN units on some islands in Carolines. At any point: before or during the WWIII.
On Namoluk there was an military airfield. There must have been some garrison there, during the war?
Oroluk - on April 16th 1944, US submarine "Finnback" fired some artillery shots into "tower" on Oroluk. What tower? Who was observing what from that tower? I found also one mention of Oroluk in mission reports of US bombers, also from 1944, which says that Oroluk was reserve target for bombing if the main target - Truk - couldn't be hit. Was Oroluk chosen as a place to get rid of bomb load to get to base lighter, or on Oroluk was something or was someone worth to attack?
What about Pulusuk? Lake of fresh water on the island without any consideration of Japanese military?
I'm awaiting any comments.

Regards,
Marek
