Does anyone have any information on this unit? I found their unit number (#21502) but nothing else in regards to what they did. Did they specialize in riot control? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think that peace preservation is mistranslation. #21502 is 移治班. 治 will mean treatment, because #21500 and #21501 are hospitals.
